Section 4 · Legal
Privacy & Cookies
Last updated: 2026-06-03. Written in plain English; legal basis is GDPR / RODO Art. 6(1)(a) — your consent.
What we collect by default
When you simply read pages on Camera Roulette without accepting non-essential cookies, the only thing we store on your device is a singlelocalStorage entry that records your cookie-consent choice so we don't ask you again on every visit. Our server does not log personal data tied to your identity.
What we load only after you click "Accept all"
If you accept non-essential cookies through the banner (or via "Manage cookies" in the footer), three third-party scripts are loaded:
- Google Analytics (gtag, property
G-7Z6S7S725P) — aggregate page-view and audience statistics. This sets_gacookies on your browser. We use it only to understand which pages people read; we do not run remarketing or personalised audiences from it. - Google AdSense (publisher
ca-pub-6687684532942795) — serves the ads you see on the site and may set its own cookies to limit ad repetition and, depending on your region and Google's own consent flow, personalise ad content. Google's own privacy controls apply at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. - eBay Partner Network smart-tools — a small script that lets eBay attribute purchases originating from our outbound links so they can credit our affiliate account. Cookies it sets are on
ebay.com, not on Camera Roulette.
Your choices
You can change your consent at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" in the footer of any page. Choosing "Reject non-essential" prevents all three scripts above from loading on subsequent page views. You can also clear your browser's storage for cameraroulette.com to reset the choice entirely.
Under the GDPR / RODO you have the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data we hold about you, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority (in Poland, UODO).
Children
Camera Roulette is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in jurisdictions with a higher age of digital consent) and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Contact for data requests
Requests under the GDPR / RODO, image-rights questions, and takedown requests can be sent through the contact page. We respond within 30 days as required by law.
Changes to this page
When we materially change what is loaded or how data is processed, we update the "Last updated" date above. Cosmetic edits don't trigger a date change.
